The Authorised Person (AP) Course from ALDT Training Academy is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for the authorization of works on airport AGL systems.

This comprehensive 3-day course is specifically designed for personnel with electrical qualifications who are involved in airside operations. Whether you’re aiming to enhance safety, support career progression, or adapt to evolving technologies, this course equips you with the essential knowledge and confidence to excel as an Authorised Person in AGL systems. 

An optional 1 day bridging course to update 18th edition qualifications to amendment 4 is also available.

This course is ideally suited for:

  • Airside Induction training.
  • Responsibility of Airports relevant to their own specific airside operational requirements.
  • AGL Introductory / Pre-attendance on-line modules to be completed prior to attending Instructor-led maintenance training and relevant to their specific operational installation.
  • Non-Instrument or Categorized aerodrome operational facilities.
  • Electrical Qualification to UK or National standards.

We are conveniently located near to London Stansted Airport (45 mins), Heathrow (1.30 hours), London Liverpool Street train Station (1 hour).
